WHAT’S INSIDE?
* Cocoa
Topically applied, cocoa phytochemicals help to provide antioxidant protection and regulate skin biochemical interactions.
This allows cocoa extract and cocoa powder, to play a role in neutralizing harmful free radicals present in the body and in the environment.
Studies show cocoa’s ability to reduce oxidative stress can decrease skin damage and reduced signs of aging.
* Pure Olive Oil
Unrefined Extra-virgin olive oil is rich in antioxidant compounds, including vitamins, polyphenols, and flavonoids.
Used topically, antioxidants help neutralize free radicals, also known as reactive oxygen species. These damaging compounds form after exposure to a stressor, like pollution, and accumulate over time.
Free radicals damage skin and result in wrinkles. By neutralizing free radicals, olive oil helps limit early signs of aging.
* Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil improves the moisture and lipid content in the skin and helps to prevent skin cancer by blocking 20% of harsh Ultra Violet rays.
Coconut Oil can be also be used as a body and skin moisturiser as it hydrates the skin by replenishing the natural oils. Coconut oil can also be used to cleanse the face by gently rubbing in small circular motions.
* Menthol
Menthol topical is used to provide temporary relief of minor arthritis pain, backache muscles or joint pain, or painful bruises. Applied to the skin, menthol has a local analgesic or anesthetic effect so it helps to provide pain relief for conditions as arthritis.
Research shows that menthol in topical creams for arthritis can help to decrease pain and improve movement.
* Essential Oils
Marjoram has been used in the Mediterranean regions for it’s multitude of mecidinal properties. Known to reduce effects of colds, fevers, inflammation, toothaches, headaches, and a host of other positive effects.
Lemongrass has antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties as well as help with nausea, pain relief and anxiety.
* Camphor
Camphor has a wide variety of topical uses due to its antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Camphor be used to treat skin conditions, improve respitory functions and to help relieve temporary pain.
* Emu Oil
Emu oil was originally used by Australian aboriginals to treat pain and arthritis. It is suggested that the unsaturated fatty acids in emu oil helps reduce inflammation associated with arthritis, and therefore reduces pain. Emu oil also penetrates deep through the skin layers to act as a carrier.
* Castor Oil
Castor is known for anti-bacterial, therapeutic, and immune boosting properties. Castor oil increases T-11 white blood cell counts, lymphocytes, and initiates the production of antibodies. It has been shown to help with blood flow circulation, in thymus gland health and lymphatic drainage.
* Delta 8 Hemp
Delta 8 flowers have a range of anti-inflammatory properties. This can help with conditions such as Eczema, Psoriasis, and for Acne.
Topically applied D8 helps with the reduce the over production of Sebum.
* Beeswax
Beeswax can create a protective layer on the skin. It’s also a humectant, which means that it attracts water.
Both of these qualities can help the skin stay hydrated. Beeswax is also a natural exfoliator, ideal for sloughing away dead skin cells.
